For excellent acceleration and effortless overtaking, maximum torque is available between 1,200-4,500 rpm. This engine twin scroll turbocharger is fed by an integrated exhaust manifold that synchronizes exhaust pulses from two separate pairs of cylinders – reducing turbo lag and improving engine response. It sips gas, getting an impressive 34mpg on the highway.
Integral Link suspension allows the XF to realize an ideal combination of refined, luxurious ride and sharp, responsive handling. The system separates and independently manages the lateral, longitudinal and vertical forces acting on the suspension for enhanced control and comfort. Many components are forged or hollow-cast aluminum –the optimum production techniques for strong, lightweight suspension.
The XF offers an exceptional listening experience with a Meridian Sound System.
